Ikal Angelei

FoLT’s founder Ikal Angelei is a world renowned environmental and rights activist whose efforts led to her and the organization being recognized by the Goldman Environmental Prize in (year). Born in the largely remote and historically marginalized Turkana County in Kenya, Angelei grew up with a strong sense of justice. She says that quite early in life it was already almost certain that she would end up doing what she does today.
